For the first time ever, we’re having a Cosplay Parade and Competition as part of Octocon, and we’d love you to come along in your cosplay!
The parade and competition will take place on Saturday 15th October 2022 at Croke Park and day memberships are now available.

Registration Update
You don’t have to sign up for the competition to be in the Parade, but if you do want to compete, sign up in advance or on Saturday before 12 noon at the registration desk. If you’re not competing, you can sign up for the parade at registration until 2pm.
How to sign up
We’d like you to register in advance for the parade and competition so we know how many entries we have and can plan accordingly to make sure we have time and space for you all.
You can take part in the parade without also registering for the competition.
We have prize-winning categories in the competition: 18 and over, and under 18.
Judging will be from 1pm and the parade takes place from 2:30pm.
The parade will be streamed live to our online members (not publicly) and the parade will also be recorded for use on Octocon social media. However, when you sign in, you will be asked to sign a release form to give us consent for any recording of you to be used, and you can opt out if you choose without penalty. The judging will not be streamed or recorded.
Please note that the parade and competition are for in-person attendees of Octocon only. If you’re attending online, you’ll be welcome to share pics of your cosplay on our Discord server or with us on social media.
